Hello there! For those of you who are new I thought I should introduce myself!

Here’s my personal story! 馃檪

I’m Amy~ I’m a busy mom of 2 awesome kids (Gigi,4 and Rocco, almost 2) and wife to a wonderful husband and partner, Matt.

I LOVE to garden…like in a really obsessed sort of way! I just completed the master gardener coursework (woo hoo!) and I LOVEEEE to cook with fresh veg from my garden and that of my local farmer friends! I had an eating disorder in high school and since then have followed just about every fad diet possible (low fat, vegan, vegetarian, paleo, keto…etc. etc.) and through this have realized the need stop the craziness and to listen to and nourish my body…this is a new journey in mindfulness and intuitive eating that I am excited to share here!

I’m also a long time yogini – I’ve been practicing since I was about 15 years old (which is roughly 22 years…oh my gosh time goes fast!). My practice has certainly changed over the years and now incorporates more meditation and less bridge pose. I have been teaching yoga for 12+ years on and off and in 2015 completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training!

The day after I completed yoga teacher training I conceived my daughter after over 1.5+ years of trying! I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) in College…and that made it difficult both times to conceive and also predisposed me to gestational diabetes…which I developed with my son.

Through my own journey I have researched extensively and taken about every training possible (haha) but more importantly have the lived experience of being a women struggling with an eating disorder, fertility, then with blood sugar…this is why I am so passionate now about helping other women on a similar path using the tools I have obtained along the way.

Every day I continue to learn and grow and I hope that you will join me!
