Monday Meditation

This weeks meditation is super easy. I’ve been working with it for a few weeks now and really love it! I learned this meditation in the Herbal Medicine for Women Course by Aviva Romm, MD (which I am very slowly working through).

The great thing about this meditation is that you can do it anywhere, for any length of time, and you don’t even need to shut your eyes (although it’s nice if you can).

Start out by noticing your breath.

Next, begin counting: breathe in for a count of 4, breathe out for a count of 6.

My favorite part…add on your inhalation “I am” then on your exhalation “at peace.”

Continue doing this for as long as you would like.

You can literally go back to this meditation anytime throughout your day! If you feel yourself getting stressed, losing your cool, or just needing a break give it a try! I have been doing this meditation while I pump at work and also before bed and absolutely love how it can instantly bring calm to my day! Enjoy!
